The mercury's stuck in the miserable ranges below 0. Winter never really bothered me much till I moved into the New England area. Thinking of twenty below spells in the winter months ahead just depresses me. Another issue for me during winter is that I find it really hard to get my bum out of bed in the mornings. Rest of the year I'm up and about and all perky by 7am enjoying all the morning sights and sounds. But come winter, I thank all deities and holy ones for the invention of a thing called the "snooze button". I make maximum use of the snooze function in my alarm clock and I have a backup alarm (with a different tone) that tells me that I've snoozed dangerously close to being terribly late. Maybe it's about time I got my self a Clocky!

talk about it!!! the worst part abt winter for me is driving and shoveling! oh dear lord...the pain of winter
Ha! That clocky thing is very cool!! And I totally know what you mean about not wanting to get out of bed during the winter months...part of it is the cold and part of it is that it's still dark out! :(
hehe..cool.. i know a few people who could use that!
hey, the worst is over in the northern hemisphere. I tend to get very depressed about the weather in November/December. Now? it's all good.
Bring on global warming.
it's nice and toasty here in the tropics:D in fact, it's too damn toasty here...
Spot on Drac! let's burn up more fossil fuel and heat up the Globe!
:-D
Clocky will not survive a full day in my room - i will bash it to death if it wakes me up with that annoying nagging sound. :-D
no matter what the temperature is outside, i prefer to be woken up with a more soothing sound - and a snooze time of at least 15 minutes to stretch and twist myself awake!
wow. thats the most annoying thing ive ever seen. i can guarantee it wouldn't last more than a day with me. what an aggravating way to wake up!
parthi : The little masochist in me loves to shovel snow... hee hee! But yeah... driving can be a wee bit challenging at times.
the1truecoolguy : I agree... the shorter day light hours does bring you down. I've been meaning to write about SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) which actually is the effect of the shorter day light hours on our moods. Maybe one of these days... sigh!
lady d. : Hmmm! Maybe you and I could set up a business to sell Clockies in SL...?
drac : I sure hope so. However, the winter weather's still pounding down hard on my neck of the woods :(.
pissu p. : Glad to know that you're not enjoying it ;).
haren & t: I'm sure Clocky would die a happy death knowing that it had served the purpose of it's life on this Earth at least once :D
