The days are getting shorter and the weather is getting colder and it's time to stock up on munchies before winter descends. No, I'm not planning on hibernating (though I really wouldn't mind skipping out on winter). I've just been watching the neighborhood squirrels again and they seem to be busy stashing away acorns for the winter months. The real interesting thing that I've noted is that the little buggers prefer to cross over to the neighbors yard to do their acorn shopping despite having a perfectly good oak on their side of the fence. Guess it's not only us humans that find the "grass greener on the other side of the fence".

dude, you need to leave the squirrels alone!
I find your squirrel fetish rather...concerning. Perhaps you spend too much time in the lab? :)
ha ha.. good one! The grass is greener on the other side does apply to this..:-)
you seem to have a connection with animals, dont you? ;-)
t: Jeeeze... Can't I even look out my own window? :P
darwin: LOL... Actually it's quite the opposite. I've been banned from doing bench work till I write up some stuff. Sigh... I miss my lovely reagent bottles and pipettes...
lady d.: I've actually been thinking the same thing... ever since a bat decided to take a tour of my apartment one night a few months back.
squirrels? again? bit deviant eh? ;)

parthi: LOL... The squirrels have nothing to worry about. I think I have a pretty healthy appreciation for the females of our species. :)
